Expect long lines and crowds of kids and teenagers if you go during peak season. That being said, it was easy enough to keep to ourselves, given how huge this place is.
This place is a perfect mixture of chaos and sweet Fall seasonal goodness.
Apple picking was just a lot of fun. The orchard was so big and well organized, had really big rest area with various food offerings for hanging out. There were so many apples fell from the trees, I didn’t like such waste. If the orchard can set up more sustainable approach to deal with the waste, will be appreciated.
Packed with wide variety of people. Everything there was great, from the apples, apple cider, apple cider donuts, peaches, blueberries, mazes etc. They could use some better signage or move some signage to aid with parking on the weekends. Make sure you wear decent shoes for walking on gravel drives. Wide tires on the stroller helps. Did I mention that the fresh cinnamon and sugar sprinkled apple cider donuts are delicious? Amazing!!!!
Cutest orchid out there. Hundreds of apples and pears out in the fields (you just have to keep walking farther down in the rows because the fruit is mostly at the end of the rows at this time of the year), delicious donuts and apple cider (there's a lot of jam as well). There's also a corn maze and many adorable animals to look at near the store. The staff is really friendly and helpful (for the most part). I recommend going early in the morning (when they open, because it gets too busy at around noon and lines are long). They serve lunch also around noon time (hamburgers and hot dogs).
A lot of fun, they had so many different trees to choose from when picking apples. You could also get pumpkins. The only down side was there was over an hour and a half wait for cider donuts so I never got any which was upsetting.
Whatever you do: BUY THE APPLE CIDER DOUGHNUTS. You won't regret it. I still have dreams of the deliciousness.
